Hi all, im new today, just registered! I must admit that i am also new to the world of Betty, only recently becoming a fan when i started working on a website that specialised in Betty merchandise (www.funkyredmonkey.co.uk). It didn't take me long to get hooked! The main reason i got so hooked is because i admire what Betty stood for when she first came onto our screens. She made women and men realise that there was more to the female sex than keeping quiet and looking pretty. Betty taught the women of the 30's it was okay to be confident and to feel sexy and im glad its stuck. No matter who you are and what you look like (male or female!) you should always feel confident and attractive because thats exactly what you are, which im sure is what this 75 year old talkartoon character would tell you if she could!
